Live-Action Gamer Tonight

She pleaded for me to go so I could sit next to her on the coach and so I can hang around with them ALL DAY. A bit scary that part. XD But YAY!

I feel like I'm in the eye of the hurricane.  All around me, there's destruction and misery and everything's falling apart, and I'm in the middle, only able to watch, unable to do anything.

I had a cleaning at the dentists today.  Oh boy.  Because I still have my braces (after three years - when are these coming off?) they have to use pressurized baking soda and salt to clean all the gunk off.  Not exactly fun.

I'm thinking of going to Dalez tomorrow.  Might pick up a pack of cards and a comic.  When is the Hunt for Illidan supposed to be released?  Is it out yet?  I have no clue.

I've downloaded Stepmania, but haven't installed that yet.  I'll probably get around to that later.

About WoW.  Maybe I should just quit for a while.  It feels like the guild is about to shatter.  I don't really want to experience something like that again.  I had a warrior in a guild where all the high levels left to form a new raiding guild and suddenly, there was next to nobody left in the guild.  I don't know if I want to go through that.

Didn't do much in the way of video games today.  Watched some videos on YooTub.

I want to do something, but I don't feel motivated.

I just realized, I've known at least three people who have the name "Washu" in their AIM sn. That being JupiterPaladin, (who I recently met) Vero-chu, and Llexum.

With fans like that, who needs little shoulder-lifted robots? XD

Anyway, I -must- urge my artist friends to try out the OC Art Meme, because the results I've seen so far are HILARIOUS. Don't believe me? Just ask Alan, Cailen, and Deathly.

I've seen this before, but this is the first time I've seen the whole thing. The video is so cool and pretty and sad at the same time. Especially the ending. I think my hormones are kicking in, because I'm about ready to cry. ;______________________________;

Hey all! Shannon here. Today, I wanted to share some developmental work I've been doing all in my head for a little parody project I had in mind to hone my writing skills. Originally it was going to be a comic, but I quickly realized my art block isn't going to go away any time soon, and there are too many action scenes and a certain character I would not be able to draw. There would be no way I’d get past the first part of drawing the thing.

I’ll stop keeping the parody project in the dark now—sorry. I’d have you guess, but you wouldn’t quite expect these two series to mash together into a parody.

And then we did.

Well, I watched some more episodes of CSI.  I'm also working on a new LEGO world with my brother.  Now it's Pirate themed.  Honestly, I think he changes his mind each month on what kind of world he wants.  And he wants me to be the one to make just about all the decisions.  I think he expects me to know everything off the top of my head. *headdesk*

I've started on Harvest Moon DS.  And by started, I mean barely begun.

I didn't play any WoW today.  It's a mixed blessing, I guess.  At least I won't know what I missed, so that's a plus, I guess.

Um.  It's been gray this afternoon, just like many of them this season.  It rained for a while.

That's all I've got for now.  I keep wanting to do a Doomwalker post, but I just don't seem to be motivated.  Oh well.

So I'm finally trying to actually use this thing HURHUR. and it's partially Pie's fault because she mentioned this place on a forum and I'm bored.

I finished MegaMan Star Force (which means I killed the last story boss and now have to do all the secret stuff) last night/ this morning/ the middle of the night.  To be honest, this was the easiest game from Capcom that I've played so far.  I only died once and that was against Andromeda and I brought him down to 5 HP (out of 2500.)

But this really was a rehash of the Battle Network games.  I liked the Battle Network series, but this was a lot like they decided to carbon copy Battle Network and just slightly change a few things.  The battle system consists of selecting "cards" (sound like chips to me,) which you send to your navi (and now you can have multiple Navis in your "Transer", but only MegaMan fights,) and then you fight viruses.  It's still mostly the same, but now movement is restricted to one dimension (left and right.)  They make up for that by giving MegaMan a shield, which is useful if you can remember to use it.  Oh, and there's a lock-on feature which lets you get up and close to your opponent, which makes some cards (like swords) not nearly as useless.

Plot?  There's a plot, but Kirb pretty much summed it up when he said, "Satellites out the asshole!"

Durr, I think there was some other stuff I wanted to talk about this game, but I can't think of what it was at the moment.  If it comes back to me, I'll edit this post.

Expect extra posts today, maybe a Doomwalker Raid Deck post.  Maybe.
